Preparation
- In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with 4-5 whole cardamom pods (lightly crushed to release flavor) and 2-3 whole cloves.
- Bring the water and spices to a gentle boil over medium heat. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Add 2 tablespoons of Al Kbous Original Tea (or 2 tea bags) to the simmering water. Continue to boil for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the tea to brew strongly.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of Puck Evaporated Milk and 2-3 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to your sweetness preference).
- Stir well and bring the mixture back to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tea develops a rich, creamy texture and a beautiful color.
- Carefully strain the tea into cups, removing the tea leaves and whole spices.
- Serve hot and enjoy your comforting cup of Adeni Tea!
Pro Tips
- For an extra strong brew, you can let the tea simmer a little longer before adding the milk.
- Always crush the cardamom pods slightly before adding them to the water; this helps release their wonderful aroma.
- Adjust the amount of sugar and evaporated milk to your personal taste for the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess.
