Preparation
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Filiz Penne Pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of Biryağ Sunflower Oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of Biryağ Sunflower Oil to the same pan. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the Icim Chef Cooking Cream Half Fat. Stir in the dried rosemary, a pinch more salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low and let it thicken slightly for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the cream sauce. Add the drained penne pasta and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle with grated Teksüt Mozzarella Cheese before serving. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious homemade dinner!
Pro Tips
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce if your 12-year-old enjoys a little kick.
- Don't overcook the pasta! Al dente means it's still firm to the bite, which is perfect for holding up in the creamy sauce.
- If the sauce gets too thick, you can add a splash of the pasta cooking water to thin it out to your desired consistency.
