Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Filiz Penne Pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta.
  2. While the pasta cooks, finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  3. In a large skillet or pot, heat 2 tablespoons of Biryağ Sunflower Oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Tat Tomato Paste and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, to deepen its flavor.
  6. Pour in 1 cup of Puck Evaporated Milk and about 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water. Stir well to combine and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add 1/2 teaspoon of dried Rosemary, and season with Salt and Black Pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
  8. Add the drained penne pasta to the sauce and toss gently to coat all the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly grated Teksüt Mozzarella Cheese if desired. Enjoy your delicious homemade Creamy Tomato Penne!
