We'll create a soft, fluffy dough, a sweet, spiced filling, and a luscious cream cheese frosting that will make your heart sing. Let's get baking!

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Warm 1 cup of Icim Whole Milk to about 105-115°F (40-46°C). In a large bowl, dissolve 1 packet of Yeast and 1 tablespoon of Granulated Sugar in the warm milk. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. To the yeast mixture, add 1/4 cup (56g) melted Lurpak Butter, 1/4 cup (50g) Granulated Sugar, 1/2 teaspoon Salt, and 3 cups (360g) Söke Flour. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
  4. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling: In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup (100g) Granulated Sugar and 1 tablespoon Cinnamon. Melt 1/4 cup (56g) Lurpak Butter.
  5. Once the dough has doubled, gently punch it down and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, approximately 12x18 inches (30x45 cm).
  6. Spread the melted Lurpak Butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small border on one long edge. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the buttered dough.
  7. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal it.
  8. Using a sharp knife or unflavored dental floss, cut the log into 12 equal slices, about 1.5 inches (4 cm) thick.
  9. Arrange the cinnamon rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish, leaving a little space between them. Cover and let them rise again for another 30-45 minutes, or until puffy.
  10. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  11. While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting: In a medium bowl, beat 4 oz (113g) softened Anchor Cream Cheese, 1/4 cup (56g) softened Lurpak Butter, 1.5 cups (180g) Bal Küpü Powdered Sugar, and 1 packet of Sugared Vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  12. Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, then generously spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious creation!
