Ingredients
- 100 g Pakistani Vermicelli
- 500 ml Al Momtaz Milk Large (or any full-cream milk) Buy: Yemany Baby Banana Milk Large · ₺149.99
- 150 g Al Fajr Sweetened Condensed Milk Buy: Al Fajr Sweetened Condensed Milk · ₺149.99
- 1 tbsp Biryağ Sunflower Oil Buy: Biryağ Sunflower Oil Large · ₺299.99
Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, heat the Biryağ Sunflower Oil over medium heat. Add the Pakistani Vermicelli and toast gently, stirring constantly, until it turns a light golden brown. Be careful not to burn it, this usually takes about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the Al Momtaz Milk Large. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Once simmering, stir in the Al Fajr Sweetened Condensed Milk. Continue to cook over low to medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 10-15 minutes, or until the vermicelli is tender and the pudding has thickened to your desired consistency.
- Remove from heat. The pudding will continue to thicken slightly as it cools.
- Serve warm in individual bowls, or chill in the refrigerator for a refreshing cold dessert. Enjoy, my friend!
Pro Tips
- For an extra touch of flavor, you can add a pinch of ground cardamom or a splash of vanilla extract along with the sweetened condensed milk.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of chopped nuts like pistachios or almonds if you have them on hand, for added texture and elegance.
